Custom Cabinets in Hooper, UT
Hooper, Utah, is a city in Weber County. It was incorporated in 2000 and balances rural small-town charm with a deep respect for the past. Originally named Muskrat Springs, it was later changed to Hooperville to honor Captain William Henry Hooper, an early Utah delegate to Congress.
In 1925, Hooper hosted their first annual Tomato Days. While originally established to celebrate the harvest of tomatoes by local residents, it has grown to include horse shows, rodeos, pageants, parades, vendor booths, food, fireworks, dog races, and more. It has continued to be a yearly tradition for over 100 years.
Hooper sits only 27 miles from Snowbasin Resort, one of the largest and oldest continually operated ski resorts in the country, and home to the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. Snowbasin features 115 trails and over 3,000 acres of varied terrain. You can enjoy wide-open bowls, steep tree-lined trails, and family-friendly runs. In the summer, you can hike and bike over 26 miles of trails and play a round at their 18-hole mini golf course.
