Eden, Utah, is a census-designated place in Weber County. It sits between the North and Middle Fork of the Odgen River and was named after the Garden of Eden in the bible by a government surveyor early settlers hired, Washington Jenkins. It started as a single log cabin and grew into the mountain town you see today. 

Eden, Utah, is home to Powder Mountain Resort, which was ranked the #1 ski resort in the West by Ski Magazine. It features over 8,464 acres of skiable terrain, making it one of North America’s largest ski areas. For those who like adventure, Powder Mountain offers guided backcountry tours in addition to ski and snowboarding opportunities. They have even recently opened Wolf Canyon, Powder Mountain’s steepest and deepest backcountry, for a limited number of guided tours for those who want a difficult but rewarding and unique experience. 

During the summer, you can bike the Brim Trail, which was the first of a planned system of trails at Powder Mountain. This loop travels six miles and provides pristine riding conditions from late June through September. It has an altitude of 86,000 feet, with 300 feet of elevation loss on the downslope. It is a great trail for cyclists of all ages and abilities.
