Custom Cabinets In Centerville, UT
Located in Southeastern Davis County, Centerville has a population of around 15,500 people. It is located near many recreation and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy. Centerville was first settled in 1847 by Thomas Grover.
Lagoon Amusement Park is a popular spot in Northern Utah for all ages. The amusement park features many roller coasters, kid games, food vendors, and a water park. Lagoon has 6 unique roller coasters as well as one of the oldest roller coasters in the world (1921). The park sees thousands of visitors each year, especially during their Frightmare events around Halloween. The Centerville Heritage Museum, also known as Whitaker Museum, is located in Centerville to help display historical documents, artifacts, and more. This home is one of only eleven stone houses built in the 1860s and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Thomas Whitaker was a sailor, artisan, and carpenter who came to Utah and settled in Centerville. Centerpoint Legacy Theater was established by Joan and Ralph Rodgers, Beverly and Blaine Olsen, and Margo and David Beecher in 1990. Centerpoint now has an acting academy, multiple shows throughout the year, and community outreach programs. Some shows currently playing at the theater include The Sound Of Music, Tuck Everlasting, Noises Off, CATS, Little Shop of Horrors, Hadestown Teen, and The Lightning Thief.
